About Get DNS INFO

Empowering network administrators and developers with enterprise-grade diagnostic tools.

    Our Mission

At Get DNS INFO, our mission is to democratize access to enterprise-grade network diagnostic tools. We believe that every webmaster, system administrator, and independent developer deserves access to accurate, real-time DNS intelligence without being trapped behind expensive paywalls or convoluted enterprise software licenses.

The internet is a complex, fragile ecosystem. When DNS routing fails, businesses lose money, communication halts, and security is compromised. We built this platform to provide the clarity required to navigate that complexity.

    Privacy First

Unlike other diagnostic platforms, we do not log your queries or sell your diagnostic data to third parties. Our tools utilize DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) to ensure your lookups remain encrypted and completely private.

    Authoritative Accuracy

We bypass local ISP caches and query authoritative nameservers directly. This guarantees that the data you see is the absolute truth, enabling you to troubleshoot with absolute confidence.

    Our Story

Get DNS INFO was founded by Alex Turner, a Senior Network Engineer who was frustrated by the state of public diagnostic tools. Many existing tools were either saturated with intrusive advertisements, relied on severely outdated caching mechanisms, or required a premium subscription for basic features like global propagation checking or deep MX record analysis.

In response, Alex developed this suite of tools. Originally used internally for consulting work, the platform was released to the public. Today, Get DNS INFO processes millions of queries, assisting thousands of professionals worldwide in securing their email infrastructure, migrating their servers, and diagnosing complex routing anomalies.

    Core Technologies & Infrastructure

To deliver real-time, highly accurate diagnostic data globally, Get DNS INFO operates on a modern, robust technology stack designed for speed and reliability:

    • Next.js App Router: The entire platform is built on Next.js 14, providing edge-level rendering and incredibly fast Time-To-Interactive (TTI), crucial when you are waiting for diagnostic results.
    • DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH): We utilize secure DoH protocols to communicate directly with authoritative servers like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8), completely bypassing local cache poisoning.
    • Edge Network Distribution: Our API endpoints are distributed across global edge nodes, ensuring that when you run a Propagation Check, you are genuinely querying from multiple geographic regions simultaneously, not just simulating it.
    • React & Tailwind CSS: The user interface is crafted with React and Tailwind, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness on mobile devices, and a clutter-free experience free from legacy UI frameworks.

    Editorial Guidelines and Trust Policy

As an informational resource for network professionals, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of technical accuracy and editorial integrity (often referred to as E-E-A-T: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).

    • Expert Review: All educational content, tool descriptions, and troubleshooting guides are written and peer-reviewed by active system administrators and cloud architects.
    • Continuous Updates: The internet protocols evolve constantly. We regularly audit and update our guides to reflect the latest RFC standards, DNS vulnerabilities (like amplification attacks or zone walking), and industry best practices.
    • Zero AI Hallucinations: While we leverage AI for structural generation, all technical factual assertions regarding DNS logic, email routing, and cryptography are strictly verified by human engineers prior to publication.
    • Transparency: If you discover a technical inaccuracy in any of our articles or tools, we mandate an immediate review. Please contact us through our official channels so we can issue a correction.
